Shipping
Orders received by Elegant Picnic, Inc are shipped by UPS Ground. The shipping fees in your shopping cart are calculated by UPS in “real-time” when you are checking out. Standard Shipping typically takes between 5 to 7 business days depending on your location. We do offer Order Tracking so you can review the status of your shipment. We also keep you informed by email when your order has been shipped.
If you wish to ship something outside the continental U.S., you must contact us for a shipping quote. You must have the name and SKU number of the item you wish to purchase, as well as a full shipping address ready when you call or e-mail us with your request. We cannot give you a quote without this information. Orders totaling $100 and over are eligible for free shipping, as long as the shipping address is located within the continental United States. Sales Tax
California Sales Tax will be applied for all orders delivered within California. We use the mandatory tax rate of 7.25%. The customer is responsible to pay any additional District Taxes that may apply.
Return Policy
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the product(s) you purchased you can exchange the item for a different product of equal cost within 30 days of receipt. You will be responsible any additional cost if the exchanged product is higher in cost and any shipping charges that were incurred. All returned items must be in new, unused condition and packaged in the original manufacturer's box. All of the product’s parts, accessories, registration cards, etc., must be returned for a full credit. A restocking charge may be applied to products that do not meet these requirements. A ten percent (10%) restocking charge will be applied to all returned purchases over $100.00.
Please follow these instructions to return a product:
- Contact us to receive a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. A return shipping address will be given to you at this time. A RMA is required to process a return. Returns without authorization are subject to refusal or restocking fees.
- Carefully repackage the product in the manufacturer's original packaging, making sure to include all parts and paperwork. You may be required to place the manufacturer's box in a sturdier, shipping quality box.
- Return the product via UPS or other insured shipping provider. It is recommended that you insure the package as Elegant Picnic, Inc. is not responsible for loss or damage to merchandise that is being returned. Please insure the package for your purchase price.
- Place a shipping label on the box and return the product to the address given to you when you received your RMA number. Please remember to include your RMA number on the shipping label. Do not write directly on the manufacturer's box. Please use a shipping label so that the box may be reused. A box replacement charge may apply if the box is written on.

Damaged Shipments
When your new product arrives, please make every effort to inspect the product before taking full receipt from the shipping company. If the box shows significant signs of damage or you know that the product is damaged please refuse acceptance of the shipment and have the shipping company return the item to sender. If you determine that the product has been damaged after the delivery company has left, you must report any damage within 3 days of receipt. This will allow us to file a claim with the shipping company to replace or repair your merchandise. Failure to follow this requirement could result in you having to incur replacement cost for damaged items. Please keep all packaging materials to be used in the claims process with the shipping company.
Returning Damaged Products
In the unlikely event your item is received damaged, contact Customer Service for a RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number. We will arrange to have the product shipped back at our cost. No shipments will be accepted without the RMA, so please call before returning any merchandise.
Low Price Guarantee
If you happen to find a lower price at an authorized dealer on an identical item, just show us the price and we will match it! Just call Customer Service at 1-866-241-3654 or email us at CustomerService@ElegantPicnic.Com. We will respond to your request as soon as possible.
The Price Match is limited to a quantity of one item per product, e.g., if you bought more than one item of the same product, we will match the price for just one item. If the competitor’s offer is footnoted by "while supplies last", we reserve the right to confirm that the competitor still has the item in stock. Our Price Guarantee does not apply to competitor's bonus offers, free offers, auction websites, non-retail (wholesale) websites, private sales, special orders, typographical errors, clearance sales, liquidation sales, mail-in rebate offers, or where a service commitment is included in the transaction. Internet competitor’s offer must include shipping and handling charges as the basis for comparison. Additionally, we must be able to verify that it is the exact same product in brand new condition. Price matching is subject to providing proof of the manufacturer's part number and availability of the product. (i.e., current dated advertisement, copy of webpage or catalog page) of a lower price. Price match guarantee does not apply to non web-based stores or pickup orders. The terms of this guarantee are subject to change without notice.
